On Wednesday, October 24th, Black and Gold badge Elites had the privilege of joining together for a lovely dinner at Cullen Campbell’s newest concept, Bar Pesce in Phoenix. Guests started the evening by congregating in the bar area with a specialty fall punch cocktail and a yellowtail crudo appetizer that was brushed with wasabi, shoyu, and olive oil.
Paired with selections of the restaurant’s beer and wine list, the four-course-meal started with the Pig Ear and Papaya Salad and Straciatella before diving into steamed mussels with bing bread. The third round featured a Squid Ink Risotto that had everyone licking their plates. Finally, the room became silent as they indulged in dessert which was a warm biscuit doughnut with salted caramel and cookie crumble. It was out of this world! A huge thank you to Cullen Campbell for sharing his phenomenal culinary creations with this special group of Elites.
As the evening came to an end, lucky Elites won prizes in the form of Bar Pesce gift cards, tickets to the upcoming azcentral.com Wine and Food Experience, and various fall goodies. On the way out, everyone received a goody bag on behalf of Bar Pesce that included gift cards and mini Pommery Pop Rose bottles.
