While BRAVO Cucina Italiana in Metairie has been around for two decades pleasing guests and supporting the local community, they invited our Yelp Elites to rekindle their love for Italian cuisine at a four course wine pairing that was both classy and casual.
Elites were greeted with a refreshing summertime sangria and welcomed into an intimate dining area with black tablecloths, fitting decor, and wine glasses ready to be filled! General Manager Don Breaux and Executive Chef Fred Mosher as well as their wonderful and knowledgeable team seamlessly poured wine and educated our folks on the delectable dishes streaming from the kitchen.
The menu showcased robust Italian flavors and cooking techniques, going beyond the traditional fare. Though the sounds of satiated palates marked various dishes through out the evening, the standout dish for our Elites was the Shrimp Napoli; marinated shrimp, breaded and fried, tossed in Parmesan cheese and topped with charred tomato Napoli sauce.
As the evening came to an end, every guest was gifted a bottle of BRAVO’s signature dipping oil to bring home; a friendly reminder of a wonderful dinner with new-found “amicis” enjoying an incredible meal.
