On Wednesday, March 27th and Thursday, March 28th, Elite Yelpers from Detroit were invited to partake in a special happy hour compliments of Andiamo locations in Royal Oak and Sterling Heights. Guests were treated to signature label wines, craft beer, and an appetizer station featuring some of Andiamo’s most popular dishes including calamari, sausage with peppers, portabella mushrooms, and an assortment of house made desserts.
Andiamo cleans the squid for their calamari in house, offering you the freshest, most tender calamari you will find in Michigan. It is lightly floured, flash fried, and served with their special ammoglio sauce, made with imported San Marzano tomatoes. The portabella mushroom appetizer has been a staple of Andiamo’s menu for years. They marinated the portabella mushrooms, grill them to perfection, and finished with their signature zip sauce. The sausage appetizer features their sweet Italian sausage, made in-house, and sautéed with spicy Hungarian banana peppers in a savory rosemary demi-glace. Their pastry department prepares the desserts for all the Andiamo restaurants, as well as special events throughout Detroit.
