When the sun sets in the suburbs around Toronto, people tend to get a little… Wild. And on the evening of Thursday, September 28th as Yelp Community members from across the 905 slithered, slunk and crawled to Reptilia of Vaughan, ON for an evening of Bites, Beats and Beverages all in support of The Brampton Library. Yelpers were greeted by not only a jungle of reptiles and live birds (from Ontario Falconry Centre) but a jungle of local business from the Vaughan area such as Hank Daddy’s Barbecue, Ay Caramba, Eh, Sparks Premium Grill + Bar, Lake Wilcox Brewing Company and more! With the help of our amazing host, over 20 local business and even some special surprises provided by All The Craze TV, Wild Card Experiences and Pure AV, Greater Toronto Yelpers had a blast celebrating the official end of summer and local businesses. Wilder still, each guest was encouraged to make a $10 donation to The Brampton Library, which resulted in $1,700 to support their growing digital literacy programs for local families and youth in the Brampton area.
