Last week, Miami Elites flexed their culinary skills at a raw vegan cooking class at Brickell’s Cold Pressed Raw Kitchen. After being greeted with Betta Bucha’s lemon ginger kombucha and house-made hummus hors d’oeuvres, Yelpers strapped on gloves and learned how to make their own almond milk, pesto, and zoodles, from the restaurant’s expert team. Essence Nutrition was also on hand to educate guests on the power of eating healthy and made sure everyone walked away learning a thing or two. From there, they took a seat to enjoy a family style meal of watermelon gazpacho, mushroom and coconut ceviche, zoodle noodles, superfood truffles, and mini berry tarts. All vegan. All delicious.
