Today we are proud to announce that applications are open for our first ever European Business Owner Summit for Success (EBOSS). This event will give local business leaders the opportunity to engage in discussion, create ideas, and form lasting connections.
Yelp tools and insights for business owners have evolved a lot since we first began connecting people to great local businesses in 2004. This has been in no small part due to the feedback and insight provided to us by you, the Yelp business community.
In 2015, we celebrated our fifth year working with the Yelp Small Business Advisory Council, and held our first inaugural business gathering at Yelp HQ called Coast-To-Coast: Coming Together Because We Mean Business. These business owners have represented a range of businesses and communities and their insight has guided the development and creation of many features now available to millions of business owners around the world on Yelp.
Following on from the amazing success of these business community forums we want to discover what it would be like to engage with many more business owners across Europe and to connect them to their peers in their city, so we created the European Business Owner Summit for Success! With the rapid growth of online reviews, our goal is to discover how businesses can best maximise the opportunity presented by this feedback economy.
This inaugural event takes place in Hamburg on September 22-23. Attendees who are passionate about managing their online reputation — and engaging with their customers in a meaningful way — will join us from across the UK, Ireland, and Germany for this event.
This choice group of local business leaders in Europe will have the opportunity to:
- Participate in our annual summit, hosted by Yelp in Hamburg.
- Connect and network with fellow business leaders across Europe.
- Provide input and feedback on Yelp products under development.
- Participate in Yelp events with other business owners in their city.
