Today we’re announcing the official launch of Yelp Knowledge, a new partnership program that enables access to the Yelp dataset of more than 100 million reviews and almost 12 years of historical data for local analytics and insights. This highly structured dataset is location specific and enables both local and national businesses to access a wealth of untapped wisdom. Initial Yelp Knowledge partners Medallia, Reputology, and Revinate, join Sprinklr, who was our inaugural partner and launched an integration with Yelp earlier this year.
These partners are industry leaders, providing high quality products, services, and user experiences for businesses that want to monitor and react to their holistic online presence. They will be launching their integrations in the coming weeks and will use Yelp data, in addition to other social media channels like Facebook and Twitter, to help large brands better understand what their customers are saying online and how the tone and content of customer conversations are changing over time.
Sprinklr has already received great feedback from their clients who value the deeper location intelligence Yelp data is bringing to their teams. Take David’s Bridal, which has more than 300 stores across the United States. Before gaining access to Yelp data through their Sprinklr dashboard, they lacked actionable location-level insights: how do their customers feel about in-store experiences? What brings customers back to specific locations — or drives them away?
David’s Bridal knew the importance of increasing customer satisfaction but needed help with the roll-out. After Sprinklr became an official Yelp Knowledge partner David’s Bridal was able to tap into a wealth of customer feedback to uncover, prioritize, and implement opportunities for high-impact improvements at each location. For example, some stores offered staff training programs to increase initial speed to service. As a result, David’s Bridal’s overall service scores are the highest they’ve been and continue to be a focus for improvement — after just 4 – 6 months leveraging detailed location intelligence.
