Fairies meddled. A man became an ass. Love got confusing. And the Louisville Elites gathered last week for some food, mingling, and culture with Kentucky Shakespeare, the oldest free Shakespeare festival in the United States. The evening started with an indoor picnic inside the Old Louisville Information Center in the picturesque Central Park. The Elites put together their own picnic baskets with an assortment of favorites from Earth Friends Cafe. They sipped on cocktails made with Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka and Epic Vodka, and Louisville Local Market was also on hand with samples as well as bags of treats for the Elites to snack on when, during the latter half of the event, they went out into the park's amphitheater to watch Kentucky Shakespeare perform "A Midsummer's Night Dream."
