If you haven't had a chance to enjoy a meal from Joe & MissesDoe, whether it's brunch, dinner, or their $15 sandwich + beer night on Tuesdays, you're missing out on one of the most friendly and delightful eateries throughout the borough. To get you up to speed, Joe & MissesDoe is a casual eatery where comfort food meets quirky American Classics re-invented. Chef Joe Dobias and his wife/business partner Jill Dobias created a playful and relaxed neighborhood spot with creative food and drink. Their bar bites menu features fried chicken skins, whipped ricotta, and bone marrow toasts, the hot dipped chicken and dredged wedge salad isn't to be missed around dinnertime, and their famous biscuits are such treat in-and-of-themselves, they were featured in the New York Times (pro tip: the biscuits are free during brunch). And being a cozy little thang, one stop into Joe & MissesDoe and you'll already feel like a regular.
This past Tuesday night, Yelp Elites were invited for an intimate hang alongside the comfort foods locals have come to love at Joe & MissesDoe. Pairing many savory treats alongside a seasonal spiked watermelon punch and Micheladas as far as the eye could see was the perfect way to spend a balmy night in the city. But don't take our word for it, skim the reviews here and check out a few photos of the fun here.
