Late night Thai food – it's as much a part of New York City life as the Yankees. But consuming delicious Asian cuisine as today becomes tomorrow is made all the better when you dial up Ngam. While most eateries of this nature procure cheap factory farmed meats and veggies, Ngam ups the ante by sourcing all of their produce from local farms when possible and pays respect to the seasonality of ingredients. In fact, they only serve hormone-free beef, chicken and pork as well as use organic and cage free eggs and dairy products in our dishes. They also strongly believe in responsible sourcing and only use seafood not on the endangered seafood list. How many Thai food places can you name that adopt a similar mindset? Not many (if any). Good on ya, Ngam! Washed down with refreshing beer from Singha, it was a great way to fend off a snowy March nor'easter. Check out reviews of the event here, and head here for photos.
