Friday night's happy hour for the Yelp Elite was two parts dinner + one part drinks & music + infinite parts doing it all for a good cause. Old Skool Cafe is a restaurant in the supper club style which is completely ran by youth from ages 16-22, who were once on probation and/or in trouble in their community, which is founded by the non-profit to support the cause for at-risk youth. Live music four nights a week, including during the event. The youth-ran kitchen released a five course menu of sweet potato biscuits with honey butter, Taumoepean Ota (cebiche), Bayview baby back ribs, Jordan's (pictured above with Chef Kevin) fried chicken, spicy collard greens, mac and cheese, Abu's West African peanut butter stew, Daniel's gumbo, pan seared shrimp 'n smoky cheese grits and sweet potato tarts were all washed down by Boston Beer Company's band of beers, cider, lead by Sam Adam's, and Joia soda spiked their craft sodas for the final punch.
