Edinburgh’s Elites were treated to a gin garnished with grapefruit on arrival at the luxurious One Square, before going through to dine on beetroot three ways followed by lamb wellington or bubble and squeak. Each guest found a “Yelpentine’s Day” card containing a special compliment and a small card on which to write a compliment for someone else at the dinner!
After tea and coffee we were ushered through to the bar where we were given another gin – this time garnished with an apple slice – and talked through the importance of the right tonic flavours by Hugh at the bar. The night was then rounded off with a final surprise: a daiquiri dessert cocktail as the snow flurried softly past the window outside! Read the reviews and check out the pictures on Facebook!
