Y'know – in about two weeks time… it's going to be super taboo to wear your summer whites. With Labor Day poking its head around the corner, what better way to bid adieu to those Q3 threads than with a marinara-fueled soiree at Galli?
If you've yet to experience Galli, let me break it down for you: it's a combination of Old and New World Italian that'll make your granny proud, but also boasts a innate sense of hipness for the cool kids. With new takes on classic foodstuffs alongside unique cocktails made with house made syrups and seasonal ingredients, it's your new favorite hang you haven't met yet.
Our pals at Domaine Select came on board with Duettos that were ripe for an Italian summer soiree. With 1 part Casoni, 2 parts Prosecco, and topped with a bit of club soda and an orange wedge for garnish… it was quite the refreshing way to beat the heat.
On the nibble-ly bit side of things, chicken parm sliders and house made rice balls were the flavors of the day, and in the words of Amanda S, "The rice balls may be my new favorite form of balls. Just saying."
