Spring is in the air in Sacramento, and what better way time to Spring Forward than with munificent tastings off the ecletic spring menu at Seasons 52? That's exactly what inspired nearly 100 of Sacramento's online influencers to head over Monday night to this classy, brand new addition to the Sacramento restaurant scene.
The private event went down on their outdoor patio, where Sacramento Elites were sealed off from unusually high winds by beautiful glass walls and flickering modern fireplaces. Yelpers filed in past the sound of a live pianist behind their sleek and elegant indoor wine bar and settled into cush outdoor seating alongside friends and strangers alike. "The patio was beautifully decorated and the glass panels strategically placed along the half wall separating the patio from the sidewalk worked perfectly to keep the traffic noise out and the sounds of the party in," shares Priya R.
With the scene set, the personable Seasons 52 staff poured complimentary wines like St. Francis Merlot, Aveleda Vinho Verde, and domestic beers including Budweiser, Bud Lite, Miller Lite, and Michelob Ultra. Coffee, iced tea and soda were also available for the non-alcohol drinkers. "The drinks were quite generous," remarked Elaine F. "I got to try the Vinho Verde and the Merlot and both quite tasty. The white packed a nice juicy punch, really tart, a bit fizzy, and very refreshing. The merlot was smooth and really got your taste buds going!"
Plenty of complimentary hors d'oeuvres from their healthy, eclectic menu were also passed out in waves, including their BBQ Chicken Skewers, Artichoke Parmesan Crostini's, Shrimp Quesadillas, Lemongrass Sea Scallops, Stuffed Mushrooms, Ripe Plum Tomato Flatbread, Garlic Pesto Chicken Flatbread and Steak and Cremini Flatbread. Adds Cindy S, "I was impressed with their service and delicious hors d'oevers. The crostinis had large pieces of artichoke with a creamy sauce that teased the pallet and the shrimp quesadillas were bursting with flavor and big pieces of succulent, crunchy shrimp."
Many of Yelp's Sacramento Elites have already vowed to return. Thanks again to the staff of Seasons 52 for a lovely evening!
