Yelp’s Lucky NCSD Elites Lick Their Lips At Phil’s!

Yelp's Lucky You BBQ At Phil's in San Marcos had North County's Yelp Elite chomping at the bit, smothering their faces in sauce and scarfing down Nothing Bundt Cakes! The fortunate attendees roamed the rooms, snatching up schwag, winning raffles, perusing the pulled pork and local brews, winking over wine glasses, (perhaps even a pinch or two) and shouting Erin go bragh!

San Diego icon Phil's BBQ has expanded into North County and Santee… meat for the masses! The NCSD Elite Squad were given the run of the San Marcos Patio and the cozy Fireplace Room. The attentive staff served up a meat fest of menu favorites including the Mini-El Toro (Tri-tip slider) the Mini-Broham (Pulled pork slider) The BBQ Chick-less (BBQ boneless chicken breast) and the Colossal Onion Rings with Buttermilk Ranch-Those handy wipes were definitely needed to mop up our smiling faces and we licked our fingers without shame! Some say San Diego beer is better than a pot o' gold, and we agree! Lucky for us Ballast Point Brewing was on hand and pouring pints galore. Nothing's better than a patio BBQ with craft beer, but it keeps getting better: Fallbrook Winery smoothed out the beverage selection with red wine for all that red meat and a popular creamy chardonnay. Elite's were practically doing a jig over these luscious local libations! The perfect dessert for this fabulous feast? Nothing Bundt Cakes of course. The beloved bakery featured its flavor of the month, Chocolate Turtle, with never ending generous samples and cupcake-sized bundtini's!Sponsofinal

Between bites, St. Paddy's Day prizes were awarded via raffle every twenty minutes! Congrats to our lucky winners and thanks to Fashion Week San Diego, Mod Diva, Carruth Cellars, and Nothing Bundt Cakes for your generosity! Our gratitude to Jonathan Bagalso photography, our favorite photog who caught all the shenanigans on film.
