Sacramento Elites Enjoy A Caffeine-Fueled Fiesta!

Our latest Yelp Elite Event, Yelp Get's Caffeinated at Pachamama Coffee Coop, was the best reason anyone would need to drink excessive amounts of coffee after dark on a weeknight. Cup after cup of the good stuff was sniffed, savored and sipped by some our best elite yelpers, who also enjoyed beer, wine and an all-around good time. Read on, as this was Pachamama's coffee event!

The whole party went down in Pacha's handsome sales and display space – the first brick and mortar store the company has ever opened! Elites filed in to discover piles of authentic south-of-the-border pastries from La Esperanza Bakery and tasty pretzel varieties from Pretzel Crisps. These treats, combined with beautiful photos on the walls and a latin music soundtrack, paired perfectly with Pacha's many blends and inspirational mission: to bring coffee wholly-owned and controlled by small-scale coffee farmers from Guatemala to Ethiopia to your doorstep.

Several styles of beer were generously poured by Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, including their Big Daddy IPA, Prohibition Ale, Double Daddy, and Payback Porter. "This was my first time drinking this brand of beer, but it will not be my last," shares Tony N. "Their beer has great body and flavor. It's a brand that I will be looking for in the future!" Delectable wines from Wine Sisterhood also flowed freely, including their pinot noir, cabernet sauvignon, red blend and many whites. "Mainline me with their sweet Moscato (served by beautiful wine stewardesses Natalie and Nary Anne), and I will remain a happy camper!" exclaims Michelangelo S

All in all, the evening served as an excellent way to bring some of our favorite businesses and yelpers together. As a bonus, $160 in donations at the door went to AmadorArts, a non-profit arts organization dedicated to encouraging, supporting, and promoting the arts in our schools and community. In the words of Frankie P: "My favorite Yelp event yet! Perfect intimate setting with high ceilings, brick walls and of course great company. The staff at Pachamama were super nice and accommodating. You can tell they have a passion for what they do!"
