Vegas Elites Receive The Royal Treatment At Gordon Ramsay Pub And Grill

Gordon Ramsay Pub and Grill at Caesars Palace hosted a bloody good time for Vegas Elites at 2013's first event, Yelp Saves The Queen. There was so much fun to be had that we had to do it twice in one evening! With everything from Boddington's to sticky toffee pudding, every Yelper left with a thorough and authentic English pub experience to remember. (Double-decker included.)

For the seated affair, Yelpers teamed up for a riveting game of British trivia while swigging selections from the extensive beer (36 on tap, 63 in bottles) and signature cocktail selection and forking up the food. Like Melia S says, "I only have one regret about the first Elite Event of the year: I didn't wear stretch pants." The evening's meal started with a sampling of appetizers, including Little Piggy Deviled Eggs and Manchester Cheeseburger Sliders topped with Bacon, and continued with family-style servings of several of the Pub's signature entrees. While Andrew G sang the praises of the Shepherd's Pie – "Every bite was followed by a warm, comforting feeling that you never wanted to leave," – Ashley S couldn't resist the "crisp and half inch thick pork belly cooked to perfection." And, of course, Gordon Ramsay didn't forget the fish and chips and some sticky toffee pudding for dessert!

Learning that Innis & Gunn is Gordon's fave beer and that his bulldog is named Rumpole was all fun and games until the lucky team trivia winner was announced! Each member of the team received their choice of a Gordon Ramsay cookbook or cigar/flask set, but no Elite went home empty-handed as the Pub generously provided gift bags complete with caps for everyone!

As Christopher S concluded, "Those who missed out on this one will be shouting "bollocks, bollocks, bollocks!" til the next Elite comes around!" Until then, read all of the detailed reviews here. Peruse the fine photos on Flickr taken by AC Photography, and scheme to become Elite before 2013 ends!
