If there's something we've learned in the last year, it's that Melburnians love a Sunday session. Elite Yelpers just love dragging out the weekend as long as they can, and what better way to do it than with cocktails and Mexican food?
Last night hidden Tequila Bar, Little Blood, welcomed a select crew of Elite Yelpers for a fun evening in their intimate space. With dozens of sombreros on the roof and hammocks swinging in the air, this venue is a quirky place that will make you feel like you're on summer holiday.
Tromba Tequila spoiled us with Palomas (a refreshing mix of Tequila, grapefruit soda and a squeeze of lime) and Tommy's Margaritas, sweetened with Agave nectar. Both were the perfect antidote for the warm weather outside!
The kitchen downstairs at Kodiak Club is also responsible for the delicious Mexcian eats at Little Blood. The night started with corn chips, salsa and guacamole and then progressed on to a parade of slow cooked goodness atop crunchy tortillas. The Chipotle braised pork Taquito was a firm favourite with the crowd, the smokiness of the meat melting in the mouth.
Thanks to Pablo and Benjamin behind the bar, Jessica in the kitchen, Nick from Tromba and the entire crew at Little Blood who made this a Sunday Session Elite Yelpers one of the most relaxed and fun of the year!
