Indy Elites Saddle Up for Hicknic in The Alley

The Yelp Indy Elite Squad kicked off the summer high on the hog at Chatham Passage Alley on the Indianapolis Cultural Trail. Yelpers enjoyed a summer night of live bluegrass by Shades of Grass accompanied by games of cornhole with Indy Custom Cornhole. Down home pulled pork sliders and BBQ beans from Squealers award-winning BBQ were washed down with Sun King Brewery's Firefly wheat ale. The evening was made even sweeter with Hoaglin Fine Catering's blondie brownies and 240Sweet's artisinal marshmallows. Let's get the lowdown straight from the gingham-clad Elite Squad themselves…

Scot C says, “ A Touch of Grass bluegrass band, one of my personal favorites from Broad Ripple!  I tell you what, as far as local bluegrass is concerned, these guys are top-notch!”

Jeff N’s favorite part: “240 Sweet and their delicious homemade marshmallows! Oh my goodness. I think I may have a new obsession with lavender thanks to their Lavender & Lemonade marshmallows. I'm still slightly miffed that I missed out on the bacon flavored one…but believe me I'll be making a trip to try some more. Especially considering there are so many different flavors (Beef Marshmallows???)”

A mighty big "Thank you!!" to all of the wonderful partnering businesses and Solar Flare Photography for capturing the memories!
