At this intimate gathering elites got up close and personal with acclaimed local mixologist Michelle Tham as she stirred up a trini-tea of cocktail creations all night long. Crafted with tea-infused syrups, yelpers tried the: Mo’Teato, Lomi Lomi Tea-ki Tiki, and Me Love Oolong Time. No steeping required.
While sipping, guests noshed on creative canapés made by L-Eat Express. Impressively, all the edibles were tea-inspired, with Black Tea Smoked Duck Breast, a Chai Tea Rice Pudding Arancini, Green Tea Popcorn, and fruit skewers drizzled in Red Velvet Rooibos Syrup. Now that's ingenui-tea.
While these elites leaves were getting loose, they also got to take a peek-oe at an upcoming blend and help name it. The marshmallow, toasted coconut and black tea aromas evoked memorized of s’mores, but in the the end elites deemed the new tea shall be dubbed the Graham Slam!
Thanks again to the wonderful staff at L-Eat Express for their tea-licious hors d’oeuvres, Tag-Vodka, Bacardi, Michelle Tham for being the dar(jee)ling of the evening, and owner Dan Johanis for opening up Herbal Infusions to Toronto’s Elite Squad.
That does it for another year of elite zaniness. Interested in joining the squad next year? Learn more at the Elite page.
