Elite Yelpers in OC donned their finest country club chic and partied it up at Muckenthaler Cultural Center last night. It was an evening filled with drinks, sweets, eats, croquet and floppy hats. These lucky elites not only had this gorgeous historic mansion to themselves, they got an exclusive preview of the Muck's latest exhibit: American Nostalgia.
Between sips of champagne and Maker's Mark, Colette's Catering kept everyone's appetites pleased with mini ahi tuna cones, ceviche, and so many desserts it'd give Willy Wonka a toothache. The near record-breaking temps during the day, made the weather in the evening absolutely perfect, and a nice reminder of why we dig life in Orange County so much. It wasn't long before this yelpalicious elite party turned into the first ever Yelp elite engagement party.
That's right, with weeks of planning Justin B coordinated a fantastically surprising and romantic proposal to the beautiful Kristin C that took place right in the middle of the elite event. Kristin thought she had just won a raffle prize, when it turned out to be a mystery prize she was a bit confused, when she found out she had to be blindfolded to receive the mystery prize she was completly befuddled. But when we took off the blindfold and she saw Justin on one knee with a ring in his hand she was overjoyed. It was quite the sight to see, and quite possibly the most romantic elite event yet. Congrats to the happy couple!
And of course, thanks to the hardest working man in yelpbusiness, Albert E and his fine photog skills for documenting it all. Along with some stunning photos and video from the amazing duo at Oz Visuals. Our Yelp profile pictures wouldn't be the same without you! You can see all the photos here and reviews of the party here.
Until next time…
